Poll: Have you literally ever had a good New Year's Eve?

FOR HUNDREDS OF years, humans have been celebrating New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
That means for centuries, millions – maybe even billions – of people have felt a ridiculous amount of pressure to go out and have a great evening so that they can start the New Year on the right foot. The reality is that most of these people end up having a shit time. Look at Mariah Carey at the start of 2018. She’s rich and she didn’t even enjoy NYE because there was no hot tea for her to drink.

If rich people can’t enjoy New Year’s Eve, there’s no hope for the rest of us. They’re guaranteed a lift home at the end of the night, while the rest of us are all forced to compete on every main street in Ireland for the very limited number of taxis in circulation. And if you went to a gaff? Prepare to be stuck there until the next morning if it’s not within walking distance of your home, because MyTaxi doesn’t want to know you anymore.

Entrance fees to nightclubs are ridiculous and the clubs are packed. It’s survival of the fittest on the taxi front. You’re going to start the New Year hungover. There’s just nothing appealing about going out on New Year’s Eve. Your best bet is to just relax at home.
Have you ever had a good NYE?
